Quality Assurance/File Analyst
 

Sid David Kimel is an Accredited Rehabilitation Professional, counselor / psychotherapist and organizational consultant. He is presently completing a Doctor of Education program in counseling psychology at the University of Toronto, and is a certified adult teacher/trainer, and certified life skills coach. He currently conducts the following assessments: career / life planning, job screening / interviewing, leadership / management potential, conflict resolution feasibility / matching and psychological / psycho-vocational (under supervision). Mr. Kimel specializes in providing these assessments, as well as in providing individual and group psychotherapeutic services for psycho-physiological disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders, phobias, pain management, depression, anxiety, personality disorders and couples and family difficulties. For seventeen years, Mr. Kimel provided pain management and counseling services for broad rehabilitation clientele while employed with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB.- formerly the Workers’ Compensation Board). In this same capacity, he conducted clinical rehabilitation and psycho-vocational assessments for the utilization of treatment planning, impairment/disability ratings and job / career retraining, for a diverse population of injured workers. Mr. Kimel has also provided vocational rehabilitation case management services to injured workers, through the WSIB., and two years of internal employee assistance counseling to Board employees. He has also recently provided vocational rehabilitation services to both physically and emotionally disabled adults, through the Ministry of Community and Social Services. He has extensive experience as a group leader and has also organized and led a number of seminars and workshops, on various topics, for several organizations. He has additionally taught counseling skills to Occupational Health Nurses at George Brown College, and abnormal psychology to masters level students at the Alfred Adler Institute of Ontario. Mr. Kimel provides report quality assurance and file analysis services to Dr. Salmon and Associates.
