Psychological DSM Diagnostic Assessment

Serves to determine the presence of psychological impairment and related psychological disability and treatment needs through clinical examination. The 1 day service includes a comprehensive interview, standardized psychological psycho diagnostic measures, a survey of pre/post condition stressors and comprehensive Rehabilitation Outcome Measures (ROMS) including rehabilitation barriers, symptom rating/coping measures, and activities of daily living measurement. This allows for an appropriate baseline to be established for subsequent graphically based progress monitoring. Psychological assessments also provide a full DSM-IV diagnosis and when required, determines relationship between an accident/triggering event and presenting symptoms. For disability management purposes, this service may be combined with Cognitive/Psychological Functional Ability Evaluation (CP-FAE).

Psychological re-assessments utilize the graphical ROMS outcome measurement system for purposes of tracking patient progress in relation to their current treatment programs.
