Lekshmi completed her Master Degree in Psychology from University of Kerala, India. She has vast experience conducting various psychometric tests including psycho-educational assessments and providing psychotherapy in clinical and school settings. In addition to this, she also holds a Master Degree in Special Education specialized in Intellectual Disabilities from National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped, India. She has worked as a Lecturer in Psychology and Special Education in various University affiliated colleges. She has been involved in programme planning and service delivery for children with special needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities and other Developmental Disabilities. 

Lekshmi is a registered professional in Rehabilitation Council of India. Currently she is focusing on psychometric assessments along with psychotherapy and transcription of psychological reports. Apart from these activities, she is an eminent Indian classical dancer and has performed various stage programmes at National level.
