Dr. Jeffrey Karp, Psy. D., C. Psych

Clinical/Rehabilitation Psychologist
 

Dr. Karp is a registered psychologist in the province of Ontario in the areas of clinical and rehabilitation psychology. He is duly qualified to provide psychotherapy and conduct psychological and psycho-vocational assessments. He obtained his pre-doctoral training in counseling psychology at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia and undertook research in the area of vocational rehabilitation and spinal cord injury. In addition, he completed an internship at the University of Wisconsin in vocational rehabilitation. He received a Psy. D. in clinical psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL in 2007.

He has provided psychological assessment and psychotherapy to WSIB claimants in a hospital-based rehabilitation setting and with a private disability management provider. Dr. Karp has over 20 years’ experience in rehabilitation with particular expertise in disability management, has presented on various topics in vocational rehabilitation, and has established state-of-the-art programs to enhance the vocational potential of adults with spinal cord injuries, arthritis, and adolescents with congenital physical disabilities. He is also a member in good standing of the Ontario Psychological Association.
