Andrei Kozlowski

Andrei Kozlowski, is a registered Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Over the past 20 years he has worked in a wide variety of institutional settings, including medical and psychiatric hospital, addiction centers and therapeutic communities. He has extensive experience in both the assessment and treatment, including the provision of psychodiagnostic, psycho-vocational and neuropsychological assessment. His areas of interest and specialization include depression, anxiety disorders, and post traumatic stress disorder. His most recent training and experience are in the area of chronic pain assessment and treatment. For the last several years, his practice has focused on the assessment and treatment of psychological and cognitive dysfunction secondary to accident related trauma. A related area in which he has a strong interest and broad experience pertains to psychological consequences of disability and adjustment to injury and chronic illness. He has also provided Behaviour Programming and Adaptive Life Skills Training to adults with acquired brain injury. Drawing from many years of helping people with health problems he authored a guide to living with challenges associated with chronic pain. In his practice, he is acutely aware of the diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds of his clients. Andrei Kozlowski is currently completing a Doctor of Psychology program in clinical health psychology.
